Police Leadership and Staff Course (PLSC)
The Police Leadership and Staff Course (PLSC) is a flagship program designed to equip mid-level and senior police officers with the knowledge, skill and attitude required for career advancement and leadership responsibilities. The course is an integration of academic and professional training, thus compromising two major components, viz. Masters in Police Sciences (MPS) and Professional Leadership Course (PLC).
The course will be conducted by Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) as internal faculty members from various domains as follows:

- Research Methodology
- Crime Investigation
- Criminology & Legal Studies
- Police Administration/Management

- Equip officers with modern management, leadership and policing skills to address evolving security challenges.
- Develop critical thinking, ethical decision-making and adaptive strategies.

- Ensure continuity and stability in leadership by preparing officers for future roles.
Objectives of the Course
- To professionally develop officers, promoting adherence to the Nepal Police Code of Conduct and fostering accountability.
- To enhance technical expertise in crime investigation, evidence management and crime scene procedures in compliance with legal standards.
- To promote modern police management and leadership styles for effective interaction with the community and problem-solving, emphasizing sensitivity and respect.
- To foster an understanding of policing as a fulfilling career and its impact on officer's personal and professional lives
