The name of Shri 5 Mahendra Police Club is to enhance the physical, mental, intellectual, character and all-round personality of the police personnel after the establishment of police offices in different parts of the country with the objective of ensuring peace and security in the country by successfully operating the police organization as the main mechanism of state operation. As per the decision of the Ministerial level of the Government of Nepal on 15th August, 2064, the name of this club has been duly changed and it has been duly renamed as Nepal Police Club. Ropani has 2 annas, 1 paisa, 3 dams in its own building and has 7 buildings within the hands of this club. There is a club-swimming pool, a police guest room in one building and the club is operating in the other two buildings. The police division is at a distance of 1 km from Singha Durbar, 2.5 km from the metropolitan police division on the west, 1 km from the office of the metropolitan commissioner of police in the north, and 1 km from Ramshahpath on the south. Since the establishment of this club, which is located at a distance of 1 km, sports like badminton, gym, aerobics, table tennis, snooker have been conducted on a daily basis and also national level competitions have been conducted from time to time.
